Orange wood Victoria

After hearing good things about Orangewood, I have been interested in trying one out. A friend recently purchased an Oliver and was gracious enough to let me try it. I was quite impressed with the quality and playability of that guitar, so I began looking into buying one of my own!
I eventually decided upon the Victoria model and have been happily strumming away for the last couple of weeks.
The fit and finish is top notch, and I am very impressed with the tuners - smooth to the feel and seem to hold tune very well! Playability is good, however the action on the upper frets seem a bit too high, especially with 12 gauge strings. A few adjustments and lighter gauge strings have made significant improvements here. All-in-all, this is the only fault I can find in this instrument!
I am very pleased with this guitar. It is a great player at this, or any other, price point! Based on my experience here, I am sure there will be another Orangewood in my future!!

Great guitar for the money. Needs a setup and new strings of course but nothing you can't do, or if you're a beginer, have a qualified tech do. Frets were all level and dressed as they should be. Great for a beginner or as a knock around guitar for the campfire.

Bought For Boyfriend

I bought this guitar for my boyfriend and it is definitely a game changer for him!! His previous guitar was getting old and it was $15 from Goodwill! He loves the new guitar to play on and plays it almost everyday now!! I'm so glad that he enjoys having the new guitar!

Thank you so much for your review! We're thrilled to hear that your boyfriend is loving his new Victoria guitar!

Best guitar I've ever had

Absolutely love my Victoria. Started play at 13 and I'm 68 now and owned quite a few guitars. My son has several Orangewood guitars including a Victoria. Played his and had to have one. The size, action and feel is amazing. Not to mention the price. Thank you guys so much.
