No complaints except the bridge nut was still a little high. Just a personal preferance. Over all I rate rhe guitar in beauty, payability and setup, 4.8. would buy again, and would reccomend
I received my Rey today, and I'm truly impressed. I had a severe stroke several years ago and I thought my playing days were over until I picked up a friend's guitar and found I had the potential to play again. However, I'm a bit picky when it comes to sound. From the video reviews on YouTube, it seemed to have a decent sound so, Orangewood was to be just the ticket. I was surprised when I got it, the fit and finish was very nice, but the sound (especially for a laminate top) was incredible. The setup was great and was easy enough for me to play. I have owned several high-end guitars so I understand what a great sound is. For $145 you will never beat this guitar ever for 2 or 3 times the price.
Have been playing the guitar since 1967 have had several high-dollar guitars including the Martin d-35 Guild D50 Taylor 310 and several others I love this little guitar it sounds great and I know the difference
The E string sounds funny but there then that it’s good
Nice guitar, just what I was looking for something I
could just let lay around and not have to worry about something happening to it. Already thinking about upgrading to another orangewood. I was thinking about getting one from the almost perfect sale. Was looking at the Berkeley Live it would be nice if you were able to revile what’s not perfect about this guitar ?
