Orangewood Warranty

Your Orangewood Instrument is covered by a Limited One-Year Warranty. Your Instrument is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship to the original owner, subject to all the following terms and conditions:

The Warranty provided herein is for a period of one (1) year from the date of the original purchase.

Limited One-Year Warranty includes:

Your Orangewood Limited One-Year Warranty covers the repair or replacement of your guitar or parts in the event that there are any defects in the materials or workmanship of your instrument.

Orangewood will repair or replace any electronic components, tuners, nuts, saddles, plating, or strap buttons that have been determined upon authorized inspection to be defective within one year of the original purchase date. If your guitar has been discontinued and is in need of replacement, Orangewood will replace your guitar with the most similar style and value instrument.

What our warranty does not cover:

Orangewood’s Limited One-Year Warranty does not cover defects due to wear and tear, scratches, anything purchased as “used” or not purchased from Orangewood, failures due to neglect or abuse, failures from exposure to extreme temperature or humidity, failures from modifications by any party, defects in the finish, routine maintenance, defects in frets or on fretboard, damage from shipping, high or low action, tone, or any instrument that is not owned by the original purchaser. Any Orangewood instruments with removed or illegible serial numbers will not be covered by the warranty. If an issue can be resolved with a standard set up, it is not covered by the warranty.

How to submit a warranty claim:

Send an email to hello@orangewoodguitars.com with the following information:

  • Photo or screenshot of the original confirmation email or receipt with order number, model, and date
  • Detailed description of the issue
  • Photos of the issue
  • If the warranty claim is approved, an RMA number will be issued and the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping, insurance, and any applicable duties and taxes to send the instrument to Orangewood for warranty service or repair. Orangewood will cover the cost of return shipping and any applicable duties and taxes after the warranty service has been completed. If replacement parts are needed without needing Orangewood’s repair service, Orangewood will ship these to the customer.
