Unbelievable Good Guitar, and not just because of the value!

I’ve owned several guitars from Yamaha and Ibanez and others. I’ve spent multiple hundreds of dollars and have been somewhat happy with those brands. Somehow my Orangewood sounds and feels as good at half or less than half the price. Super happy with the purchase of this instrument!

BEST GUITAR UNDER $200

Love my orangewood guitar. It’s beautiful and the sound it puts out is incredible for the price. The action is low but not too low, making it easy to play. The case and accessories included really makes it a deal. It’s the perfect option for someone just getting into guitar playing or someone who might be an avid guitarist but needs a good travel guitar. I moved to AZ from AL this summer for a 1 year job and didn’t feel comfortable bringing my 1963 Alvarez that was handed down to me by my father. I thought I would have to wait until I moved home to play again. Orangewood made it possible for me to enjoy playing while on the road. I still can’t get over how great this guitar sounds. The Rey Mahogany is the best guitar you’ll find for under $200 and I highly recommend this as a staple in anyone’s guitar collection.

Beginning Again

Fifty-eight years ago my Mom and Dad surprised me with my first guitar for Christmas. It was a red plywood guitar for kids from KMart. I was so excited. My older cousin taught me how to play it. He was my hero. I never stopped learning. I bought better and better guitars over the years. By the time I graduated from high school I was good enough to teach guitar classes to adults at the local community school building. I owned a Gibson, a Yamaha, a Takemni. I performed in talent shows, at church, in bars. I played folk music like Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Peter Paul and Mary. I taught private lessons at the local music store. I started learning to play like Chik Correa. Jazz and wild fingering those scales.

Then I became a single Mother and had to sell my last guitar to pay the rent.

Now I’m retired. Lots of free time. I’d never heard of an Orangewood. I love the look of mahogany. I loved the sound on that video. I loved the affordable price. What did I have to lose? $145. I was ready to begin again!

The Rey Mahogany is one of the most beautiful sounding guitars I’ve ever owned. It sounds like a $500 guitar. The tone is incredibly beautiful to the ear. It’s so well-made. I feel young again when I play it. Making music on this guitar is so relaxing. Great action on the strings. I could go on and on praising it. It’s my new best friend.

Thank you Orangewood! You’ve created a thing of beauty,

A

Great value

The guitar is comfortable and plays well & sounds good for a very reasonable price. For a student or entry-level is a tough deal to beat. To be sure this model was the entry-level model so it competes rather well with guitars that are you know in a couple of price ranges above it
