guitar very cool
Disappointed with the finish. The "wood" simply looks like a decal on plywood. It also won't stay in tune.
I’m happy with this little guitar plays really nice
I was originally reviewing a couple of smaller acoustic like the Martin DJR-10E and Taylor GS mini but I noticed in my search that the Orangewood Oliver Jr was included quite often compared to those above. So I gave it a go and purchased the Oliver Jr. I love everything about the guitar, especially considering the price point, half the price of the Martin and Tayler. The sound that the Oliver gives out is beyond belief as well as the playability.
Honestly, at the price point that this was offered, I had very low hopes about the quality. Let's just say that my expectations have been wildly exceeded. This guitar stays in tune, is easy to play, and has a very pleasant tone and my son grabs it All The Time! He is constantly learning new things. The shorter scale makes it more forgiving for him and is just what I needed to keep him interested and excited about learning the guitar. Buy with Confidence.
