Bought as a travel guitar after watching some YouTube reviews, Originally was debating between Martin & Taylor’s travel sized guitars, but thought, hey it’s got a mahogany top and is $200-$300 cheaper. Guitar is mediocre at best… kind of sounds like toy to me, the high notes are alright but the bass has an odd unpleasant dull thumpy sound. Does not sound as good as it did on some of the You Tube reviews. I’m planning on changing the strings, maybe that will make it sound better. Guitar has s nice look, but just feels cheap when holding it. I guess I was expecting too much from a cheap guitar, but even a $180 travel sized Yamaha sounds better. Should have just ponied up the extra cash for a better guitar.

We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the sound of your new guitar! We'd recommend keeping it for your full 30-day trial which will allow the sound to 'open up' in the guitar's new environment. Additionally, you are welcome to try changing the strings to your favorite set as this will not affect our return policy at all! Though we recommending using the same gauge if you will not be getting an additional set up. Please reach out to us at hello@orangewoodguitars.com with any questions at all!

Fine Guitar

This 3/4 guitar is exactly what I needed to start getting back into playing. It appears to be nicely made. It's nothing fancy, but for the money, it has a nice tone, is lightweight, and stays in tune!
