Performance Exceeds the Price!

Let me preface this review by saying that I am a touring guitarist of over 30 years and guitar is how I make my living. Having said that, I was looking for an affordable travel size guitar that I could take on the road for writing and practice. I needed something that wouldn't take up space and something that wouldn't break my heart if it got stolen or broken. I did my research on roughly 20 different brands of mini/travel size guitars.

After reading reviews I decided to give the Orangewood Dana Spruce Mini a try. I have to be honest, the quality, the finish, the playability, and the sound more than exceeded my expectations. From the time I pulled the guitar out of the box I couldn't put it down. The intonation and setup were great and the neck immediately felt comfortable. I own a slew of high end acoustics and electric guitars, so I'm no stranger to what I'm looking for in a guitar.

In summary I would just have to say that I'm blown away that Orangewood is delivering such a good guitar at an unheard of price. I've read a couple of reviews where people just weren't happy with the quality or sound of the Dana Spruce Mini, but my experience has been nothing but positive. I love the guitar and have zero complaints. This has been a perfect little travel guitar that allows me to work without having to pull full size guitars out of the trailer and take up more room on the bus. Now that I've been playing on it for a few days, I should say that I probably would be heart broken if my Dana Spruce Mini got stolen or broken!

Surprisingly Awesome Guitar!

First thing I wanted to see was the size - I never had a small/travel guitar and I find it extremely comfortable to hold & play. When I oicked it up, i was blown away by
the neck carve. Perfect! Tones - check and double check. Thanks for an incredibly fun instrument.

We appreciate your review!

Mini Guitar Spruce

This is a great little guitar!
I have had several travel guitars including the Martin and Taylor versions and I think this beats them hands down.
You can’t find a better travel guitar especially for the price.
This is the third one I’ve purchased as I’ve given them away and moved them on— people appreciate them very fast.
I do recommend using a little pillow wrote a tale so you’re are mangoes are the same as for a regular size guitar
Makes it much easier to play any small guitar.I do recommend using a little pillow or rolled up small towel so your arm angles are the same as for any regular size guitar.
This makes it much easier to play any small guitar.
Very lightweight.
One came with perfect action, but the other two I had to do a truss rod adjustment to get the optimal action which can be very good. The adjustment was simple.
Orangewood customer service is excellent .
