This guitar is unreal. Beautifully crafted and now seeing and playing it I would’ve paid over $500 minimum for this set up. Blown away!!!

First Impression

I just received my Morgan Mahogany Live. First, it is a beautiful instrument and arrived in perfect condition after making its way to me on the East Coast. Setup is okay, although I immediately had to file off a very sharp point on the nut to avoid being cut when forming a first fret maj7 barre chord. The action is a little higher than I like - but I will wait to adjust that after I have played the guitar for a week or two. Initial impression of the sound is that it is nice - but not quite what I had hoped for with a mahogany guitar. However, overall at this price point - this guitar is an excellent value for sure! The Morgan Live is an excellent beginner guitar which this was purchased for my teenage daughter. I will seriously consider buying a second higher end Orangewood for myself - maybe a rubber bridge guitar to avoid annoying the family when I play late in the evening.
