Dive into the world of rubber bridge guitars, built for performance you can rely on. From the smooth feel of Ernie Ball flatwounds to the rock-solid stability of Grover open-gear tuners, every detail is dialed in for a seamless playing experience.
Juniper sounds great unplugged—but just wait until you run it through your favorite amp and pedals. The powerful Alnico 5 humbucker packs the perfect punch to all that mellowness. Let the soundscaping begin.
Using our parlor as the base, we tested a number of rubber-lined saddle designs to find the right thickness and adjustability. We then upgraded the bridge construction with additional reinforcement and added in a trapeze tailpiece. The result? A dreamy yet articulate sound.
Juniper is ready to play right out of the gig bag with a professional set up before shipment. When needed, you can easily fine-tune the guitar’s playability at home, using the headstock truss rod access, allowing for neck relief and adjustment.

This guitar creates a very raw emotional tone for contemplative music, especially slow Christian meditative songs. I prefer playing it over my Taylor priced 3x more.
This is a great guitar to have sitting next to you on the couch or the porch or anywhere! It just cries out to be played, and the mellow tone is the perfect thing when you just want to work out some ideas, but you don’t necessarily want everyone you live with to have to adjust what they’re doing to accommodate your playing. For the price, I found the build quality, overall setup, playability right out of the box, packaging and speedy delivery to be top notch. Actually, even better than I expected. The satin finish isn’t usually something I’d choose, but here it works really well, and it’s so comfortable and smooth that, again, you just want to play it. Also, when you plug this guitar in, it opens up a whole new world of opportunities for overdriven tones and recording options to enhance or double other acoustics.
From my experience, I would recommend this, and I think the price point is spot on given what’s out there in the affordable parlor guitar market.
Thank you for your review! We're so pleased to hear that your Juniper is inspiring you to play. Enjoy the range of tones!
I've dreamed for a long time about getting my own Rubber Bridge guitar, and thanks to Orangewood, now I do. It's easy and fun to play and sounds beautiful, particularly when I run it through my amp. I'm having a great time discovering new sounds for my music. Stop watching the videos on how to convert your guitars and get this! You won't be sorry. : )
Solid build, attractive details all around, great finish and edge work. Sounds particularly good plugged in (zero buzz / feedback) with a very unique tone. I’m feeling Roy Orbison, Skeeter Davis, and Chris Issak.
Thank you for your review, John! We're glad to hear that you're enjoying the unique tone and solid build of your Juniper — it’s great to know it’s helping you channel some iconic sounds!
