Great products, top notch after-sales support!!!

Just received my Oliver Jr’s :)

Build and sound is top notch! I’m really stoked with the mahogany-black outline combination.

It’s unfair when other people compare it with the other high-end 3/4 size guitars like Martin and Taylor GS Mini and then give this a bad review. With respect to overall price & quality, I would give it a 9.5/10. Gig bag and accessories presentation is awesome. I'm from Alberta, Canada, packaging was safe and trustworthy. Hands down. I had minor concerns about the finish on the top of the guitar but nothing that affected the overall quality and sound. And, Bram from their support was able to accommodate and provide all the answers that I required.

I’m super satisfied! I would definitely buy another one of your guitars in the future for sure!

Great little guitar!

I ordered an Oliver Jr. for my daughter, in the hopes that the smaller size would be more comfortable for her to learn on. Although I read generally good reviews about Orangewood guitars, I wasn't expecting too much in this price range. So, imagine my surprise and elation when I opened the box and discovered this little beauty. EVERYTHING about it was perfect. The neck was straight as an arrow, fit and finish was perfection, intonation was spot on, and the tone was sweet. Also, I don't think that even a Plek machine could do a better job insuring all the frets were perfect. Even the ends of the frets were smooth.

The only change I made was to remove around 1/16" from the saddle to lower the action to my personal liking. Even so, there was no string buzz or rattle at any position. Although I own 4 acoustic guitars (including an expensive premium brand), this little Oliver was a joy to play. I was reluctant to part with it, but it was time to give it to my daughter. She was very pleased to receive it, and I can see that she appreciates its smaller size.

Maybe I was just lucky to receive a perfect instrument. But let's be realistic... in this price range, how can you go wrong? Try it!

Amazing sounding little guitar!

I am so pleased with my Oliver Jr.! When I first took it out of the box, I was impressed with the fit and finish of this guitar. The sound, initially, was very soft, but as I play it, the sound is beginning to really come alive. Every hour it is played causes the wood to open up and become more vibrant and increase in volume. Great sustain! Thank you, Orangewood, for such an inexpensive but quality instrument! I also appreciated the added humidity control packet, as it really helps with managing the wild humidity and heat on the east coast where I live!

Great Beginner Guitar

I’ve been playing guitar for almost three years now and started out on an electric but wanted a cheap acoustic to play on for acoustic songs. I was debating on whether to get a mini guitar or a full-size, but decided on the mini. At first, I thought it was too small when I took it out of the box and was going to send it back for the regular Oliver, but once I started playing, I was glad I got the mini. I’m still struggling with strumming the proper strings, and the smaller size makes it a little easier to see what I’m doing. It was shipped two days after I submitted the order and it came well packaged and the gig bag is very well made and lined. Actually, I may end up buying another gig bag for my electric guitar! The guitar itself seems very well made. Since I’m new to playing, I can’t speak too much on the quality of the sound but it sounds fine to me and it’s actually pretty loud and has a deep warm sound, even with the new strings. I’ve been playing for about 20-30 minutes straight 4 or 5 times a week and even play with a capo and the strings have been staying in tune and I’ve only had to tune it twice in a week, and even then the strings were only slightly out of tune. The only negative thing I can say is that the guitar wasn’t in tune when I got it, despite what the website says. Overall, I’m very pleased and would definitely recommend Orangewood to anyone looking for an acoustic guitar, and I’m already looking at the acoustic-electrics!

wanted to love it but......

First off the guitar is well built and sounds as it should like a mini guitar. I have no issues with the product other than the neck its a D shape and not a C shape as it says in the specs. I have 3 orange wood guitars including the dana mini which has the regular fat neck acoustic guitar feel. Im going to keep it but If I had known the flatish neck contour I would have gone a different route. If your a first time buyer get the dana mini its cheaper and feels better (to me) to play. Thanks to the folks at orange wood for giving us a great bang for the buck I will purchase more from you in the future. LONG LIVE FAT NECK GUITAR LOVERS LIKE THIS GUY.
