Love the Morgan atm, one week in and it has an amazing tone, can’t wait for it to age to see how beautifully the guitar ages!

Morgan Spruce Live

I had previously bought an Orangewood "Rey M", and was very pleased with the tone, quality of construction, price, and factory set-up.
So, when I saw the "Morgan Spruce Live" on sale, I bought one thinking that since it was slightly more edpensive, had a solid Spruce top, and an electric pick-up, that it would also be a great value.
When I received it, the saddle notch for the B string was about one millimeter off toward the high e-string, and the high e-string veers slightly toward the bottom edge of the fingerborard. Also the tome seems thin compared to my other guitars, and a lot less full than my Orangewood Rey M. The electronics are just the average under-saddle Piezo. I am still debating whether or not to return the Morgan Spruce Live. Since it has defects, I don't feel that I should have to pay a $15 re-stocking fee. But I may just keep it, and use it as a Knock-around Town guitar. It's playable, just a little disappointing. I still have 3 weeks to decide if I'm going to keep it.
But Orangewood does have good Customer Service, and usually, good products and value.

Morgan's Live

Very satisfied with my Orangewood first time experience. Quality product for the price, with great response and tone. Good budget friendly addition to my family of guitars. Nice overall feel straight out of the box...see ya soon.

Love it!

Haven't put it down since i received it. Nice sound, nice finish and easy to play. My son has a Taylor so he would never touch my Takamine because the action was so high it was hard to play. Now he grabs my Otangewood everytime I put it down. Also ordering and delivery was quick and painless.
