An Artist’s Secret Tool? The Rubber Bridge

Inspired by historic muting techniques and modified bridge designs of respected luthiers, we've put our unique spin on the dreamy rubber bridge tone. Using our parlor as the base, we tested a number of rubber-lined saddle designs to find the right thickness and adjustability. We then upgraded the bridge construction with additional reinforcement and added in a trapeze tailpiece. The result? A muted yet articulate sound.

Ernie Ball Flatwounds provide a nice warmth to accentuate Juniper’s tonal textures, while Grover open-gear tuners ensure tuning stability. From beginning songwriters to touring pros, you can count on Juniper for reliable performance.

Plug in and Explore

Juniper sounds great unplugged, but you should hear it through your favorite amp and pedals. The high-output rail humbucker projects the perfect punch to balance out all that mellowness, and a simple cupcake-style knob adds volume control.

Great addition to my collection

I never thought I would have a bunch of Orangewood guitars. I now have 5 different types. I love the sunburst Juniper for its retro looks and sound. I love the flat wound strings. I paired it with my Positive Grid Spark amps and add effects to suit each song. It’s fun and easy to play. I’m playing blues slide and finger style songs. Now I need to find a hard case for it.

Not a fan of the strings

I like the guitar a lot, but the round wound G string needs extreme stretching before staying in tune.

Inspiration delivered to your door.

I’m so happy with my new Juniper! From the moment I ordered it, the creative juices started flowing and once I received the guitar the floodgates opened. I have nothing but positive things to say about the guitar, the sound, the look, and the build quality vs price is unmatched. If you folks ever decide to make a solid body rubber bridge electric guitar, mark me down for two.

This little guitar is so inspiring and fun to play that songs just pour out of it. I love it acoustic but it also sounds amazing through the pedal board. Simple, solid, and well made.
