Nice guitar, doesn't quite fit my needs

I wound up returning this guitar (mahogany top), mainly because I wanted something a little smaller, partly because the sound wasn't quite to my liking. However, this is definitely a great budget guitar. The sound won't compare to a Martin (or any solid top guitar, for that matter), but is quite good, and the guitar is a lot of fun to play. Under different circumstances I would have kept it, and would definitely recommend it for someone who is looking for a budget option that punches above its weight class. Most cheap beginner guitars are crap; the Dana Mini is a quality instrument that the beginner will be able to enjoy for years. Also, if you're anxious about buying a guitar that you can't try first (I was), Orangewood makes returns extremely easy.

My only minor quibble is that, as I've seen many reviewers point out, the action comes set pretty high. Yes, this is not difficult to address; but a guitar that is largely being sold to beginners ought to have an easier to play action right out of the box, in my opinion.

I like my Dana Mini a lot i just have to make a adjustment to neck for string buzz that's due to the distance it was shipped My next purchase will be THE OLIVER JR. WHEN IT'S BACK IN STOCK I've read alot of good reviews about it

A Pleasant Surprise!

I was looking for a travel sized guitar to take both boating and camping. I was pleasantly surprised when I received my Dana Mini. The finish was way better than expected and the sound that came out of that small guitar was incredible. You can’t go wrong for the price. Way to go Orangewood you exceeded my expectations!!!

First Ever Guitar

I recently bought the Dana Mini as my first ever guitar and i have no regrets! Its compact size helps me to learn and is easy to hold. And the sound is unmatched for a guitar this size and price. My only complaint is that one of the strings snapped less than 5 minutes out of the box. But other than that, great purchase! Will definitely be buying from orangewood again!
