The Dana Mini Spruce is a nice guitar, has a bright tone and plays nicely. Only issue, the high E string broke on the initial tuning out the case, exact same thing happened with the Mahogany version I own as well, not sure why this happened on both guitars, but it did. Overall, for the money, you can’t go wrong with the Orangewood Dana Mini series!
My daughter and I have taken interest in learning guitar and have a few that we could find in local music stores. We decided to check out the Dana Spruce mini when we were looking for something little smaller and are really pleased with the quality and tone of these little guitars. They sound bigger than they are and are very comfortable to play for both adults and younger children.
Great little guitar ! Good low action .Came almost in tune. This is the 3rd Orangewood guitar I have owned . They all have been great !
Purchased for travel, I'm happy with the playability. Obviously it's not as full-bodied as a full-size, but that's fine. It gets me to play more.
My Dana Mini is gorgeous! Came to me in perfect condition, plays beautifully, and despite making the trip to me in the heat, was almost in tune when it arrived. I have very small hands and the mini immediately felt completely comfortable to play, a first for me on an acoustic.
My only issue was that my heart went into my throat when the Fedex guy delivered it because the box was crushed and ripped. A very scary moment! He even offered to stay while I opened it up to make sure I didn't need to send it right back, that's how bad the box looked. I would suggest some more padding in the box because I felt like I got lucky the guitar wasn’t crushed or damaged.
