I am very happy with my Orangewood Oliver Mahogany. It was shipped quickly and arrived with no issue. The setup was good and the sound of the guitar is quite nice. The only minor issue I have found on the guitar is that there is a tiny bump under the finish on the guitar top just below the bridge. This bump is not visible but can be felt when rubbing your hand over the top. I am guessing this is a result of dust or a grain sawdust under the finish. All things considered, I think the Oliver is an excellent value.
Took a little longer than I thought but was worth the wait. Nice rich sound, set-up nicely, right out of the bag. Couldn't be more pleased, and the price was awesome.
I have taught guitar for 15 years to students of all ages. This guitar has revolutionized how younger players can get up and running very quickly due to the amazing playability, solid tuning, and wonderful sound of this instrument. If you are a parent thinking of. getting your child started on guitar this is hands down the best quality for the price point. Too many times I have had parents spend money on instruments that look good, but are cheaply made, tough to play, and never hold tune....which only frustrated the student as well as myself. I only recently came across this company and directed two of my students to purchase this guitar and they are now up and running faster than any of my other students. Even barre chords are.a breeze. I now only recommend this guitar to parents looking to start their child on guitar. It is worth every penny.
Thank you, Marshall - we appreciate you letting us know about your experience with the Oliver Mahogany!
