Good gift

It’s pretty good, i notice the c string get out of toon more often than the other strings, other than that it’s fine

Came with some sandpaper

Ukulele looks, plays, and sounds amazing. My accessory kit didn't come with a pick. I did however get a piece of P320 grit sandpaper from inside the Uke.

Too much fun

I am a 65 yo woman who has been a periodic guitar strummer for many years. Since retiring I wanted to get back into it but found the strings were just too hard on my fingers. Decided to give the ukulele a try and saw a good review of this one so in a whim I bought it. Was so pleased with it right out of the box. It looks like a real instrument, not a toy as many of them appeared. Having the tuner and chord card helped me start right away and it is just so much fun! Even my guitar snob DH was impressed with it. Has a great sound and I’ve been playing every day since it got it. I’m glad I got the tenor as I think the smaller frets would have been harder to play. Received it quickly and just can’t say anything negative about my experience. Nice work folks!

Side note for any other newbies out there. Check out Austin Ukulele Society online. They have lots of fun songs and instructions you can download.

The Farm Aminals Love It

Yes, aminals is a joke. This is my first ukulele purchase. My goal was value for the money and quality at a fair price. I feel that my Orangewood Harper Tenor meets my goals. I play for the enjoyment of music, as a hobby, and for fun. That is what this ukulele is, fun. It is Fall at the time I am typing this. I was walking around the farm plucking away on Woody (giving the uke a name makes it more fun) when I noticed I had a fan. A horse was walking with me. I stopped and horsey started sniffing the ukulele, then decided the ukulele needed to be licked. I played a bit more and the horse followed me around. Then an alpaca showed up and was staring at me. The farm aminals seem to approve, that is good enough for me. The uke plays just fine. I enjoy it very much.
