An Artist’s Secret Tool? The Rubber Bridge

Inspired by historic muting techniques and modified bridge designs of respected luthiers, we've put our unique spin on the dreamy rubber bridge tone. Using our parlor as the base, we tested a number of rubber-lined saddle designs to find the right thickness and adjustability. We then upgraded the bridge construction with additional reinforcement and added in a trapeze tailpiece. The result? A muted yet articulate sound.

Plug In and Explore

Juniper sounds great unplugged, but you should hear it through your favorite amp and pedals. The high-output rail humbucker projects the perfect punch to balance out all that mellowness, and a simple cupcake-style knob adds volume control.

I love the Juniper. It's all together a different thing than any other guitar and inspires you to play it completely differently.

Beyond that though, I had some issues I was trying to work out with the guitar (no ones fault) and Orangewood offered one of the best customer service experienced I've maybe ever had. And I mean across the board, not just in music gear world. Happy to play Orangewood and will continue my collection with them. Great people!

Thank you for your review! We're so glad you're loving your Juniper and had a great experience with our customer service team. Welcome to the Orangewood family!

You're going to be surprised

This guitar isn't what you expect - in a good way. It's exceptionally well built from top to bottom and comes with a very good setup. It FEELS amazing and looks rad. I say it's not what you expect because it will reshape how you play guitar. It's not electric OR acoustic - it's altogether different. If you buy it as a backup acoustic, you'll be disappointed. If you buy it to use as an electric in your collection, you'll also be bummed. Instead, buy it as the unicorn of your guitar collection. Pair it with a few nice pedals (delay, verb, compression) and pull it out when you need to get creative or try something new. It will challenge you to play differently, think differently, and appreciate the wide range of diversity it add to your string section.

Shockingly good

This thing is so much fun. It has a unique sound that just wants to make music. The finish and feel are fantastic for a sub $400 guitar. It really shines when plugged into your rig and sounds great through effects. The neck feels great with the satin finish and flat wound strings. Setup was great out of the box. If you are on the fence at all about getting one of these, just get it.
