Excellent for the price

Keeping in mind that this is the cheapest guitar in the line up, I have to say it doesn't look or sound like it. I'm all justice, it's not a $3000 Martin but it definitely doesn't sound like a cheap guitar. The construction is also excellent. At this price you expect some cosmetic issues like glue squeeze, action problems, intonation but there's nothing like that. It sounds a bit bright but I attribute that to having brand new strings and as the guitar opens up, I'm sure the sound will be more balance. Not to say it sounds bad. I just expect it to get even better with time. It's what a would call a perfect couch guitar that looks good. I asked some people around to play it and give me a guess as to the price according to the quantity and sound. Most landed in the $300 to $400 range. That says a lot. I can't wait to try some of the other models Orangewood offer.

Loving it

The packaging and delivery was very satisfactory. The Manhattan sounds great, it is on loud side with pick. I mostly am playing with fingers. Need to try different sizes of picks. Trying the dreadnought shape for the first time, it hurts near my right hand elbow, but i think it will take some time to adjust to the shape.
