Tuners are cheap and will break

We all know we're not supposed to drop our guitars, but one wouldn't expect that the tuner would break off with the key leaving and allowing the mechanism to stay in place. I have learned that these tuners aren't appropriate for a gigging musician that might have a bump knock their guitar over, because after that the tuner will free itself from the tuning mechanism. if it wasn't a year old I'd return it. Instead, I'm forced to buy new tuners (you know, ones that come with an actual guitar). Highly disappointed.
