Beginner/Novice guitar player

I've been playing acoustic guitar off and on (but mostly off) for about 20 years. I'm comfortable with the standard 1st position chords and can play CAGED/barre chords most anywhere in the neck. I have several acoustic guitars by Fender, a Martin, and a Taylor. That explains my skill level and what I like to play.

That being said, I really like my Orangewood guitar! I like it better than all my others except maybe my Taylor. It has been a breeze to start playing right out of the box, I didn't even change the strings on it. Setup was perfect for me, feel and action was smooth, and the sound coming from that piece of art is amazing!

I bought the Morgan Live, for less than $300 and it has been worth every penny of that. I can't say how impressed with this guitar I am. If you need a guitar, and are about the same skill level of player that I am, buy it, you will not be disappointed.

One last comment to show how impressed with this guitar I am. To me, the pinnacle of acoustic guitars is Taylor. If this guitar were labeled a Taylor, I would believe that it was in a heartbeat. It really is a wonderful guitar! -Wesley

Thanks for your review, Wesley! Enjoy your Morgan Live!

It’s an amazing guitar

It’s worth more than just 295
It can probably compete with any Taylor or Martin

First guitar

This is my first acoustic guitar. Decided to try this after reading other reviews. And I love it! Better than my electric guitar.

Great Guitar , Great Price

The company was fabulous to work with, I ordered. Right Handed Guitar, but meant to order a lefty, they handled everything exceptionally well. I ordered the Morgan Mahogany, it did not arrive anywhere close to being tuned, but It did travel from California to Kentucky, no big deal. While trying to tune I broke the “A” String, Ordered a set of Elixir 12/53, 80/20 Bronze, sound is beautiful. I started playing the guitar late in life during COVID, wasn’t sure if I would stick with it. Wanted to try something different. I have no idea how this compares to a Taylor or Martin, but I’m happy to do some Friday night backyard playing with friends and family. A great sight unseen purchase.

Great balanced sound.

This guitar sounds great for the money. The only problem I had with the guitar was it came with a worn out area near the sound hole. The guitar’s satin finish is great I just wish it didn’t have the worn out area.
