Juniper sounds great unplugged—but just wait until you run it through your favorite amp and pedals. The powerful Alnico 5 humbucker packs the perfect punch to all that mellowness. Let the soundscaping begin.

A Sonic Haze

Using our parlor as the base, we tested a number of rubber-lined saddle designs to find the right thickness and adjustability. We then upgraded the bridge construction with additional reinforcement and added in a trapeze tailpiece. The result? A dreamy yet articulate sound.

What a cool little guitar! The Juniper arrived setup very well. I expected to make adjustments for a high action. No, nothing was needed for this little gem. It sounds unique and takes pedals well. I'm as happy with the Orangewood Juniper as with any guitar that I own. It's mostly for how unique it's tone is and it's easy to play. I have a dozen or so acoustics and electrics. Usually a $400 guitar would not satisfy me like the Juniper does. It's fun to play and gives me plenty of cool tones. Buy one and see for yourself!

Thank you so much for the review! We’re thrilled to hear that you're enjoying your Juniper!

Cool guitar!

This was sort of an impulsive purchase after getting notified by an email that they were back in stock. I didn't know anything about a rubber bridge guitar and did a dive into YouTube. I pulled the trigger and I have zero regrets. The quality and the things like a bound rosewood fretboard, Grover tuners, decent gig bag are not at all what you'd expect for <$400. And the sound is so cool! It sounds great and unique with any amp I have, acoustic or electric. It's a keeper! I will be back for more from Orangewood.
