The 3rd fret had 2 dots and the 12th fret design was bubbling off on one side. The fret pins were also loose. Contacted customer support and got 10 percent back. They Offered to ship for an exchange back but it was a Christmas gift and it wouldn't have made it back in time
I was looking for a travel guitar— something small enough to fit in the overhead bin of an airplane, that still looks and sounds great.
I narrowed it down to the Oliver Jr. and “big name” guitar with similar specs and a hefty price tag. Then Orangewood had a crazy good sale and I couldn’t pass it up.
From the moment I unboxed it, I fell head-over-heels in love with my Oliver Jr. and I have played it every day since it arrived.
I was looking for a mini to leave out on the stand year round, including our dry winter months without breaking the bank. This fits the bill perfectly! Exactly what I was looking for, plus I got it on sale. I also appreciate the included accessory kit and gig bag.
Looks like a toy, but well made and great sound.
I’ve been playing guitar for awhile, so I was looking into getting a smaller guitar to take places and this Oliver Jr. is perfect! I’m not a big fan of the Ernie Ball Earthwood strings that come setup with the guitar, so I changed them to some Elixir 80/20 Bronze Polyweb strings and it sounds even better! It’s very easy to play. Overall love the size, the beautiful finish, and how affordable this is.
