Exactly what I wanted and more a beautiful guitar

It's ok for a beginner to learn on, so I'm giving it to my daughter, I'm not really impressed with it.

Big sound from smaller guitar

I bought this for my 15yr old son. His 2nd Orangewood. He also has the rubber bridge guitar. He loves this guitar for messing around and writing songs. The sound it produces is awesome. Set up from Orangewood so far suits him.

great after a proper setup

bought during the almost perfect sale, and setup out of the box was not great but okay. action was high and intonation down the neck was not great. setup maybe had to do with this particular guitar being part of the almost perfect sale? not sure, but after a proper setup and a couple months of playing it feels and plays much better and easier. would give 5 stars if the setup was perfect out of the box but most guitars will understandable need some adjusting to get it to where it needs to be.

Good, but not great

I received this guitar very well packaged. It looked exactly how I expected, could not find a flaw with the finish or craftsmanship. Unfortunately it had a buzz right out of the box, which is no big deal just needed to adjust the trust rod. After that it played very nicely, the frets are smooth, and the strings (as advertised) were very easy and light to play; however, because the strings are so light, they don't really resonate especially on the small body of the guitar. This problem goes away when plugged in, but I mostly play unplugged. The tuners do not feel smooth when turning. I own the Taylor GS mini and wanted something the same size, but was disappointed with the acoustic sound of the guitar, and the tuners, especially for the money. I would recommend the less expensive small body guitars that orangewood sells like the Oliver Jr over this. For the price I don't see the crazy value that was advertised, but it is still a very nicely finished guitar that I can play for a long time without issues. I am probably going to switch out the strings for some thicker strings like my GS mini to see if that solves the sound issue.
