Great guitar for the money would consider another guitar

I've had the Oliver for one week. Out of the box the action was great. Absolutely no problems with fit or finish. This is my third Orangewood. Also have Echo Vintage Live and Mahogany Morgan Live. Quality guitars at a very reasonable price. Thanks!

Thank you for your review! We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying your Oliver and appreciate your continued support!

Nice guitar, but not fully set up.

First of all, this is a fine guitar for the cost. Fit and finish are as good as thought costing much more. My only disappointment was with the nut. Despite what Orangewood says, the nut slots were far too high. I was able to lower the height significantly and improve the playability and intonation on the lowest three frets. But I have a complete set of nut files and have been working on guitars for years. Also, some frets were slightly rough and needed polishing. A couple of frets needed to be dressed to be level with their “neighbors”.
Again, the guitar is a good value, but unless you have experience doing setups, you should probably add the cost of a professional setup into your budget.
