Beautiful look and wonderful sound. Highly recommended.

The Rey sounds great. The neck is very comfortable and plays very easily.

Unfortunately, it came with corroded strings, scratchy frets, action set to high, and a nut that string kept sticking in. I understand that this is an extremely budget model, but if someone that didn't know how to polish frets and make the adjustments, it wouldn't be a pleasant starter guitar.

I would still recommend it, if you know how to do a set up.

Absolutely love this. I bought the guitar it came in damaged and they immediately sent me a new one. Great company.

I have the mahogany Ray and the spruce Ray these little guitars are proof that you can build a great guitar with layered wood it is the design and the Builder that make a good guitar layered wood can be half as thick which makes it more resonant actually pretty

Loving my Rey Spruce!

Really pleased with this purchase. I have been a professional guitar player for 40 years and managed a full line music store for 13 of them. I have unboxed, set up, sold and serviced nearly every brand of imported guitar out there and my Orangewood blows them all away for the dollar! Fender, Epiphone, Ibanez, Washburn, Takamine, Hohner, Sigma etc..I own several Taylors and a 72' Martin D-35 so I also understand solid wood acoustic guitar tone. As a guitar teacher, I would highly recommend the Rey for a beginer looking to start out playing without spending a lot of bucks. The intonation on my Rey is spot on and the tone is remarkably good for a laminate. Washburn should probably just quit! lol! I was flying from Upper Michigan to Arizona and was looking at shipping one of my guitars just to have something to play while there...enter Orangewood! Perfect solution for my situation. Eventually I will drive my Rey back home to Michigan but for now it will be my Arizona guitar and stay there. I will likely order another for home studio use, altered tunnings, or set up just for slide. The fit and finish, quality control, and overall value on this guitar is nothing short of remarkable. Amazing job Orangwood thanks so much!!
