A Great Value and Very Playable

I've owned about 25 acoustic guitars including some very pricey vintage. So, I was curious what could be bought for this price. Wow! This is a lot of guitar Quality for a very low price.
1. Beautiful manufacturing quality
2. Quite playable out of the box. I did lower the action a bit to suit me.
3. The neck is very comfortable
4. For my ear, the sound was a bit darker than I prefer. This is a mahogany sound, and I'm more of a Spruce Top guy. I probably should have bought the AVA.
5. The size and proportions are really good for smaller players!

BOTTOM LINE: This would be a fabulous first guitar for anyone starting out. It's almost hard to believe the price and quality!

A couple years back I had a $1200 vintage mahogany 1958 Gibson LG, and this $350 guitar was massively better sounding.

Hard to argue

Made the purchase based on YouTube reviewers opinions. Struck by how consistently glowing they all were. Like Andy said, “the worst thing about this guitar are the strings - and they’re good strings.” And “Buy it”. I did.

Thanks for your review and for choosing Orangewood!

Amazing guitar for the money

My daughter talked me into not spending big money on a guitar as I'm still learning, so I was wondering what I would get, but I'm telling you, this guitar is the best deal I've made all year. After tuning it, the mellow sounds started flowing. I find it really playable and the size is great for playing in a smaller space. The pickup is great to use for amplification or into a computer as well. I spent less than 40% than I was going to, and as this beauty sounds 90-95% as good as a high end guitar, saying I'm well pleased doesn't do this guitar justice. I did find the action took a few days to get used to, but I am certainly not complaining. I rave about this guitar to anyone I talk to about it, and I'm telling you, if you are not a full time professional musician, this guitar is amazing.
